This antique Native American beaded purse features a beautiful floral motif, handcrafted by Ojibwe artisans. The aged leather interior and snap closure provide practicality, while the intricate beading adds a touch of elegance. A truly unique piece with historical and cultural significance.
This bag measures 6” wide and 7” long including the fringe.
The strap is missing. Sone of the fringe along the bottom has lost its beading but most of it is still intact. Two of the beads on the flap are iridescent and most likely a replacement. There is also an area on the flap where the thread is intact but a couple of the beads are missing. The beading in the body of the bag seems to be fully intact.
The leather interior is well aged. The material lining is in good condition.
