This Acoma White Brown Vintage Bowl is a unique and traditional piece, handmade by Native American artists in the early 20th century. Its polychrome, geometric pattern and shallow design are perfect for showcasing small items. The looped handles add a touch of elegance, making it a beautiful addition to any collection. It has been outdoor fired based on the shadows in the clay.
On the back it is noted as Albuquerque New Mexico 1926 in pen which I would say is probably from the original collector.
Bowl is 6 3/4” x 4 3/4” x 2.5” tall
It is in good condition. It does have a crack that probably happened during firing. There is some worn areas on the paint on the edges of the bowl.
