Antique English Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle

This elegant perfume bottle is a testament to the craftsmanship of the Victorian era. Made of high-quality sterling silver, the intricately detailed repousse design features hand-wrought birds, butterflies, and swirling floral motifs. A truly exquisite addition to any collection.

The bottle is hallmarked on the bottom with additional marks on the body and neck of the cap. The marks are as follows: Lion facing left, anchor, Queen Victoria and what I believe is the scripted letter L. This would indicate it was assayed in Birmingham in 1885. It is also marked with the maker’s mark: B & S.

The body measures 2” in diameter and is 2.5” tall. 

There are a few dents on the body and on the lid. The bottle has an aged patina which you could polish to a shine if that is your preference.
