This antique mahogany and brass four draw telescope dates back to the mid-1800s and was likely used by an officer in the Civil War or on a boat/ship. Its sliding dust cover on the eyepiece ensures clear and accurate viewing, making it a reliable tool for any explorer or historian.

Telescope is 2” dia x 8” x (26.5” extended)

It is in great condition with no dents to any of the tubes making it easily extendable.  Glass is without scratches and gives a clear magnified image.  Brass is well tarnished.
