James and Thomas Bevington created this Parian bust sometime between 1865 and 1878. The Bevingtons worked in Staffordshire, England. This sculpture - “The Bride of Lammermoor” is based on the 1819 romantic tragedy written by Walter Scott. It is stamped on the back J&TB and Bride of Lammermoor.
She is 5.25” wide, 3” deep and 8.5” tall.
It is overall in great condition with no chips cracks or breaks. It does have some slight discoloration here and there due to its age.
