Antique JC Aikin Large Gold Filled Pen and Pencil Combo with Crystal Quartz Gemstone

Expertly crafted by JC Aikin, this antique pen and pencil combo boasts a retractable design and luxurious gold filled finish. Both the pen nib and pencil extend and retract via slide mechanisms on the side. The nib is marked JC Aikin & Co New York No 5. 

The pen is 6.5” long when extended and just over 5” long when retracted. The quartz gem is just over 1/2” in diameter. 

One side of the pen has a few small dents. The slide mechanisms for both the pen and  pencil sometimes slide too easily. When you turn the pen upside down they sometimes extend on their own. This may need service if you intend to use the pen for writing.
