Each book measures 12” x 15” and is 1.5” thick.
The covers have age appropriate wear. The top cover has let go on the first volume. The pages are all still intact and the bottom cover is connected. The second volume has some slight separation of the binding at the very beginning and end of the book but overall the binding is holding tight. Both have tears to the first page which has no writing or illustrations on it. Other than that tears are very minimal to nonexistent.
Both have some foxing which is primarily at the beginning and end of the books. There is no writing or highlighting of the text. The illustrations are in great condition. There are no missing or loose pages.
