The Etruscan style was popular with Victorians between 1860 and 1880. It gained popularity during the Grand Tour era when young men took educational trips to Europe and saw ancient Etruscan designs.
Each earring is 1/2” long and just under 1/2” wide. The total drop with the ear wire is just under 1”.
There is some wear to the gold filled finish commensurate with age and the kidney wires are somewhat misshapen. That being said, these amazing little earrings are a great piece of jewelry history!!!
