This is a lovely double sided table top screen. It is embroidered with angel fish and stands on a carved rosewood base. A signature of “Suzhou Embroidery Institute” is also embroidered on the screen noting it’s origin. The Chinese government set up this institute after 1949 and is now renowned worldwide for its quality embroidery and is know as “The Pride of China”. The screen comes with a decorative presentation box. The panel and stand break down to fit into this box.
The screen and stand are 5.5” wide, 10” tall and 3” deep.
