Antique Primitive Small Wood Framed Mirror

It measures 12” wide and 14” long. 

For some reason someone glued paper to the back of the frame. There is a spot on the back on the right that is missing part of the wood. It is soft and charred so possibly this mirror was exposed to fire??? The frame still feels sturdy and solid. The face of the frame is unaffected by this. The mirror is in great antique condition with minimal wear.
