This game case features antique cards made in Cincinnati, along with 15 civil war era handmade bovine bone dice in various sizes. The wood case is covered in velvet and includes two compartments for organizing cards and dice. Play with a touch of history and luxury.
The box measures 4.75” x 6” and is 1.5” thick. There is wear to the velvet (particularly on top) from use. Each of the upper corners are worn. The box is solid and the latch is in good condition.
The deck of cards is missing 8 of the following cards:
Jack, Queen and 9 of hearts
Ace, 2 and 6 of clubs
Jack and Queen of diamonds
5 of spades.
The bone dice vary in size as follows:
2 large dice measure 5/8” across. One has rounded corners. The other one has a chunk missing. These are in the upper right corner of the photos.
7 of the dice are 1/2” across.
6 of the dice measures roughly 3/8” across. - 3 of the small dice only have a number on one side. On two of these I believe someone has written in the additional numbers. These are in the upper left of the photos.
All dice have some discoloration and some have very small chips.
