Beaded Chakla Cloth Gujarat Saurashta Textile from India

This hand made and hand beaded textile is from Gujarat state in northwest India. Traditionally a bride would weave this to cover the gifts at the wedding. They are now made and used as wall hangings and decoration.

It is 26.5" x 26.5"

The tag on the back says Kisura Designs and is dated 1990.

There are some threads hanging here and there but the stitching seems secure. There are also some small holes in it that are evident in the back but not easily visible from the front. It does not appear to have beads missing.
