This Russian black lacquer box is hand made and hand painted. The scene depicts Vasilissa the Fair who is the Russian fairy tale version of Cinderella. This box is one of a kind and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is also signed by the artist.
It measures 5” x 4” and is 1.5” tall.
There are a few light scratches on the underside from use. The upper corner on one side of the box has a small area that is chipped but it is mostly to the inside of the box.
