Pre Colombian Pottery Whistle from Costa Rica

This intriguing whistle was created in pre Colombian times possibly for ceremonial use or to communicate with each other from a distance.

The front leg was broken at one time and has been reattached. The back leg is broken but it still stands securely in its own. Unfortunately the whistle does not work anymore. Still it is an amazing piece of history.
