This vintage Satsuma Kyokuzan porcelain trinket box was created in Japan in the 1920’s. It is a small scalloped box decorated with a flower and butterfly motif. The inside cover and the base of the interior are also detailed with a flower motif. The bottom is marked Kyokuzan.
The box is 3.5” in diameter and 1” tall.
It is overall in good condition with a few small areas along the rim where the glaze is missing (pictured).
