This English antique Royal Staffordshire porcelain biscuit jar dates back to the late 1800s.It was made by Royal Staffordshire in the Imari style also known as Gaudy Welsh. The jar is adorned with a red floral and blue leaf pattern outlined in gold. It has a metal handle and lid. Crafted with expert precision, this English porcelain jar is a true collectible piece. The jar is 5” dia and 8 1/2” tall and is marked with a pattern number and royal Staffordshire stamp.
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The porcelain does cave cracquelure. The handle has some scratches on it and the metal collar has some plating loss. Some of the gold painting on the bottom rim has been worn off.
