This is a vintage Chinese treasure box of eternal spring and longevity. It is resin covered with red and black lacquer. It is very finely detailed with various scenes, dragons and the Chinese character of spring. The original was created during the Qing Dynasty.
Box is 13” dia x 5” tall
It is in good condition. There are several small chips in the details of the artwork and a large moon shaped piece on the lip of the interior ring which has been repaired.
