Vintage Yixing Clay Teapot Set

This beautiful tea set is known as Yixing.    Yixing is a city in china and is a particular type of purple clay from that area that is known to enhance the flavor of the tea. This is a slip cast set.  This set consists of two teapots and 4 cups.

One of the teapots has two marks. One of the marks means good fortune.

It is an elegant set in excellent condition.
