Antique Boxwood Carving of Chinese Immortal Deity

This is an antique Chinese carving of one of the eight immortals of the Daoist religion.  It is a depiction of Li Tieguai who is usually depicted as an ill tempered old beggar but who is aids the suffering of the poor and sick with medicine from the bottle in his hand.  This sculpture is hand carved from boxwood. It has glass eyes (one is missing) and a small display stand it sits on.

Sculpture is 3” x 2 3/4” x 5” (stand included)

He is in good antique condition but he does have one glass eye missing.
